My
Top Ten Pet Peeves. #10. People waiting for the elevator who stand right in front of the door before it opens. What am I supposed to do, run you over like a linebacker just to get out?. #9. People who do anything else besides driving, when they are driving. #8. Telemarketers, even for something I truly want. I still won't buy it. #7. Multiple good-byes, e.g. in the hall, in the kitchen, inside the front door, then outside the front door, then on the porch, then in the yard, then by the car, and so on........ #6. Call waiting. "Could you hold? I have someone who is far more interesting to talk to on my other line." #5 Sorry Ladies, but I have to get a little sexist here. Shopping carts, they are not supposed to be used as weapons. Back during the Gulf War, we could have just sent 300,000 women with shopping carts to Iraq and it would have been just as effective. #4. Those "rolling boom-boxes" which have a bass response that can be measured with Richter devices miles away. #3. This is related to #9, but deserves its own mention; Cell phones and driving; I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no phone call worth risking yours and my life over.
I'm still working on this page...
